Basically ,there are four kinds of Sigma Mixer: Vacuum kneader, pressure kneader, atmospheric pressure kneader and high temperature kneader machine , And as its discharging way, there are also three discharging way, they are Hydraulic turning cylinder pumping type, ball valve type and screw extrusion type.
How Does Sigma Mixer Work?
In Sigma kneader mixer tangential action of mixing and kneading obtained by ‘Z’ type (SIGMA) blades, which rotates at different speed towards each other .The material is pulled, sheared, compressed, kneaded and folded by the action of the blades against the walls of the mixer trough. When the kneading process is finished , the material can be discharge by tilting the container or through the valves at the bottom .
