Description
A twin screw extruder are versatile equipment used to precess and extrude various materials, particularly polymers and plastics , into the desired shape and size. The twin screw extruder machine provide a efficient process for mixing, kneading, and homogenization of the material being processed, it is mainly used for test or lab research with small capacity and small batch production ,widely used in unversity &colleage lab, chemical enterprise, scientific research institution etc.
Unlike simple single screw extruder, the twin screw extruder has two parallel screws in a heated barrel . There are two kinds of configuration as the direction of rotation of the screws either corotating (both screws rotating in the same direction) or the counter-rotating (screws rotating in the opposite direction).
When the twin screws extruder working , they create a self-wiping action that prevents material buildup on the barrel walls, ensuring consistent and uniform extrusion.
This mini lab extruder machine can process all kinds of plastic ,rubber materials such as soft/hard propene Polymer (PP) and polystyrene(PE) coordinated with the appropriate auxiliary machine,it is used for processing elastomeric compound for production of rubber strips, rubber profile, rubber channels, rubber chords, rubber tubing, rubber threads etc.
